Boko Digital executed a complete architectural overhaul, migrating Pijamas Anae from a lagging WooCommerce setup to a high-performance Shopify engine. We stripped away digital clutter to create a “dreamy” user experience—one that is as smooth, breathable, and premium as the fabrics they sell. By integrating automated lead capture and a Shopify Flow welcome sequence — featuring dynamic “Best Seller” feeds and a 10% email subscriber incentive — we transformed their shop into a high-performance destination where comfort meets conversion.

Challenge
Before the redesign, the Pijamas Anae digital storefront was hitting the “snooze” button on growth. The original WooCommerce site was plagued by 500 Internal Server Errors, slow load times, and a backend that couldn’t handle the brand’s potential. From a design perspective, the site felt cluttered with dated elements like hearts and circular motifs that distracted from the premium nature of the products.
The Goal: Move beyond the technical limitations of the past. We set out to migrate the entire product catalog, stabilize the server environment, and deliver a sophisticated, high-end redesign that speaks to the modern woman. The objective was clear: create a fast, reliable, and visually stunning platform that makes “adding to cart” as effortless as falling asleep.
Solution
A High-Conversion Home Page (Minimalist & Modern)
We moved away from static, cluttered sliders in favor of a background video experience. By replacing busy design elements (like the previous “circles” and “hearts”) with a clean, video-first hero section, we immediately established a premium, cinematic feel. To ensure readability and brand alignment, we implemented Tan Mon Cheri for headers (with a custom 50px letter spacing) and Nunito Sans for a modern, accessible body text.
The Mega Menu (Tienda) & Intelligent Navigation
We redesigned the Mega Menu from the ground up to reflect a “boutique” browsing experience. By organizing collections into a logical, visual hierarchy, customers can now find their preferred styles—from classic sets to seasonal collections—in a single click. This eliminates the friction of the previous site architecture, allowing for a faster path to purchase.
High-Performance Product & Collection Templates
Drawing on e-commerce best practices, we rebuilt the product templates for maximum clarity:
- Clean Visuals: We extracted and optimized all imagery at 2x scale to ensure the textures of the pajamas look crisp on Retina displays.
- Optimized Checkout Flow: Integrated localized payment gateways including PayU and Bold, ensuring a familiar and secure checkout for the Colombian market.
- Localized Logistics: Built custom shipping logic to handle tiered rates—10,000 for Bogota and 18,000 for outside regions—providing transparency before the final click.
Mobile-First "Bespoke" Refinements
Recognizing that most shoppers browse from their phones, we developed a custom mobile video module that allows for a different, vertically-optimized video feed compared to the desktop version. We also fine-tuned the UI by lowering button placements and adjusting color schemes (switching from white to light green where necessary) to improve “thumb-reach” and overall mobile ergonomics.
Smart Welcome Automations
To build long-term customer loyalty, we integrated Shopify Forms with a custom welcome popup. This is tied to a Shopify Flow automation that instantly delivers a 10% discount code to new subscribers, creating an immediate incentive to purchase and building a robust email marketing list from day one.
